Leaving today for the National Association of Realtors Convention in New Orleans. I have mixed feelings about the days ahead as I have a love/hate relationships with conventions.
I love conference-type events and any kind of gathering based on educating its people scores points with me. I also love the attitudes most attendees bring to a convention. Good moods prevail and a party-like atmosphere is everywhere (whether there is a party or not).
I'm looking forward to catching up with old friends, meeting new ones and networking, networking, networking. At the core of any great business is the connections it has. My goal, then, is to create more connections for Rich Sands Seminars.
Wondering about the hate side of the love/hate relationship? You'll have to wait on that one as I'm heading to N'awlins with a positive attitude. I'm all about the love.
